Football and Color Guard

Since my mom won't update the blog, I guess I will. Me (Clay) and Keriann are both active in extracurricular activities at school. I am on the JV football team, and on Varsity when my coach feels bad for me. Keriann experimented with band, and is now on the color guard, the twirly flag thing for those who are not familiar with band talk such as myself. I am going to catch everyone up on the action with some videos and highlights that didn't make the cut on WFTV's High School Football show. For those from church who won't be able to see my games, since they are on Wednesday activity nights, grab some popcorn and #1 foam finger and enjoy the 17 seconds of pure gridiron action courtesy of my moms shaky hands. FYI, I'm number 64.

Boone was a very hard game, but we won 7-2

Keriann has worked hard to perform at halftime on Friday nights, she's near the left corner.

Camden can't resist having some fun

FANS, AWESOME!!!!

My mom and dad are always at my game, and I'm sure you could hear them too. It is always a joy to me to find friends and family taking time from their night to come and watch my games. Thank you to all who come!!! Here are some of the crowd:

Carver always knew where I was, Thanks for the support man!

Kennedy was able to catch a little football from the cheerleaders
Aunt Niecy got to perform with all of the other parents, taking us (Keriann) band geeks' spot in our premiere show after a 12-hour practice.

Clay's Tampa Bay Buccaneer Training Camp

On Tuesday, after my vigorous workout, my dad called me and said that my Uncle Kyle had tickets to the Tampa Bay Buccaneer's training camp at Wide World of Sports. I love the Bucs so I had to go. Not only was I going to see them practice, I had VIP access to an air conditioning, (100 degrees outside) suite, with food!!!!! The practice was cool to see and exciting to see all of the players up close. So close you could hear the kind, calm Coach (nicknamed Chucky) "discuss" with his players an issue with the formation. To top off the day, the VIP area was right by the locker room. So my dad bought a football and got 11 signatures of some players. It was awesome.

Siesta Key

We spent the day in Siesta Key with Scott, Michelle and Hayden. The beach is beautiful on the Gulf. The little waves, "ankle slappers" as Scott would say, were perfect for the little boys. Once you got past the waves, it was like being in a big swimming pool (with 100's of strangers). The clear water made it perfect for Clay and Keriann to dive and pick up several shells, after failed attempts to find sand dollars. The beach had the water, and the right kind of sand to make a comfortable time lounging and playing with new sand toys. Our prepared lunches made a quick and pleasant time. We stayed at the beach until the late afternoon, and went home after a great day.

Keriann's Korner

Hey, this is my first posting and im totally excited!! Recently the 14-18 year olds at our church went 2 youth conference. The theme this year was service. I thought the leaders had 2 b challenged with having 175 teenagers actually WORK!! The turn-out was great we worked 2 different service projects and had an ah-mazing time doing it!! Along with our 2 service projects we had a dance every night!! The 1st night was casual while the 2nd night the girlie-girls got dolled up and the boys wore monkey suits. The experience was spiritual and fun!!

Cocoa Beach

We had a great time at the beach with our friends. The sun was hot and the water was refreshing. The kids played in the sand, boogie boarded and showed off their sweet volleyball skills. A fisherman down the beach caught a shark...some of our group ran down and watched, while others were too busy soaking up the sun a.k.a. me!My LDS posse

We should have feared the beach with the "high hazard" warning, but we carry our own red flag with our 28 children combined!

Clay and Chris

In support of his good friend, Chris....Clay decides to get a military hair cut. The next day, Chris left for the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado. After the hair cuts, Chris took his friends flying to celebrate his success in earning his pilot's license. It was hard to say "see ya later" to such a good friend!

Clay is so ready for this.

I think he likes it!

This quick video shows Chris landing with "Crash 6" spraying water as the plane approaches. This was done as a "congratulations" to Chris!
